PROJECT II : COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF 2 BUSINESS OF SIMILAR INDUSTRY IN TWO DIFFERENT SETTINGS
For this project, we were required to form a group and choose any two business to compare, analyse and complete an comparison report with the following:
- Background information about the businesses
- Analysis in terms of competitors, obstacles or challenges, nature of business and strategies used
- Recommendation / future plans, expansion and ways to sustain the business
- Detailed referencing and citation
I grouped with fellow coursemates Leo,Mc,Ameer and Barbara and we have chosen two hair saloon business to compare - Eroma unisex saloon and VOGUE hair saloon . The following is our work.

The final assignment concludes the modules of English and Effective Public Communication. Throughout this assignment, I learned how to construct a good and productive interview, as well as synthesis the information into a report and presentation slide. Besides that I gained extra knowledge on the field that I interviewed. In addition, I learned about how the difference of location between businesses effect their operation. I also learned how the leadership and teamwork form everyone can lead us to success in this comparative assignment.Last but not least, this assignment also help us to develop our analytical minds to focus on ideas and facts and I also got to improve my oral and public speaking skills.A good verbal presentation should keep practise so that it can benefit ourself in future.
