Project 1 : Back To Our Roots
This project is able to let us know more about our family culture and explore to know the new knowledge that we never learn before in our family which also name it as our roots.
In groups of two, this very first CnC assignment requires us to explore and understand our family history and culture. We are also required to present the collected information in the form of a video and two infographic boards. Moreover, we need to come out with an A5 booklet that depicts our family traditions and culture.
Before we start doing our project we need to record down a one minute video to explain about what is culture and civilisations
After doing research about my family, I found out some interesting facts
My group partner Min Chuen his grandparents and great grandparents family are mainly works as fisherman and their family income is mainly came from fishing .
Besides that his family names had been written since long time ago by his earlier generation grandparents so the name that their family having are follow by the sequence.
Hence we decide to do our presentation board by using infographic style and put the background as fishing boat to indicates that his family is doing fishing job.

Our BOARDS :
This presentation board is design as a book and conbine the two A2 presentation board togather . The left hand side of the board contains family tree which arrange arrording generations and our family timelines while the right hand side of the presentation board is using infographic style to show our family culture according to brief which including geographical , economy , culture , characteristic and achievement .
From this I learn more about Min Chuen's family culture and it let me explore my knowledge . Besides I also learn the way to use infographic style to produce a good and clear presentation board . We had been edit the board many times to ensure that the final product is the best . We learn and we know our mistake through out every tutorial season .
OUR VIDEO :
This video is mainly eplain about how Min Chuen's great great grandfather escape from china and come to Malaysia to find a better life.In this video we also include some historical clips and went back to the village to explore more and try to use different way communicate with elder person.
MY A5 BOOKLET :
For the individual part I decide to focus on Chingay this topic because it is special and it is a important and wonderful culture in my family which I does'nt familiar . After I doing this topic I learn more information about it and I know how to tell my future generation about my family culture .
Besides that , I also learn how to use different method to produce a good A5 booklet . For me this is a good project I learn more that I expect .
